It generates the strategy that underlies sales techniques, business communication, and business developments. It is an integrated process through which companies build strong customer relationships and creates value for their customers and for themselves.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But nowadays, marketing is more then that, &lt;b&gt;marketing is a connection between manufactures and consumers&lt;/b&gt;. And this connection can be sometimes emotional. If you manage to create such a connection with your consumers, than you know you are doing the right thing. I'm not saying that we didn't had marketing before television, but back then, there were no means of reaching a high number of consumers at once. So we had local radio ads, some news papers ads and of course flyers. So how did you get to be known for your products or services. Well it was through &lt;b&gt;word of mouth&lt;/b&gt;. If you had a good product and everybody was speaking good about your product, then your business will succeed. It is simple as that. And to this day, &lt;b&gt;word of mouth is the best marketing tool&lt;/b&gt; available for a company to get themselves known. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It was the "&lt;b&gt;missing piece of the puzzle&lt;/b&gt;".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_MPizX1bHMrs/TN3_5lvy14I/AAAAAAAABNg/ZpTvnUQYHuI/s1600/marketing.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="199" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_MPizX1bHMrs/TN3_5lvy14I/AAAAAAAABNg/ZpTvnUQYHuI/s200/marketing.jpg" width="200" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And by this I mean companies could now have access to millions of viewers, to promote their products / services. Funny, we all try to get away from the thing that started this - television. They started advertising it on &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com" target="_blank"&gt;youtube&lt;/a&gt;, the new flag and the new wrapping. So let's just say that they managed to destroy the new ROM campaign in just a week. After a week the officials from the chocolate company came with some excuse and telling the nation that it was just a joke ( wright ... ). Never I have seen the internet change an advertising campaign so fast and so drastically switching the whole marketing scheme 180 degrees. And that is the true, that nowadays everybody has the power to change and influence the future advertising campaigns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Never again we will be forced to watch or hear what the big advertising companies have to say, we have a word in that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That is the power of the internet and that power is growing fast, I mean really fast. Today you can see and &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com"&gt;youtube&lt;/a&gt; people that are making a living out of video blogging.  People that have more audience than some tv programs, I personally like the &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/SHAYTARDS" target="_blank"&gt;Shaytards&lt;/a&gt; channel and like Shay they are a lot more out there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, in conclusion I would like to say that we all have the &lt;strong&gt;power to change the world&lt;/strong&gt;!
